I appreciate the email I have receive about my blog. I reply to each email individually, but a couple of people already have asked me about the lack of racial diversity in my posts, so I decided to address the subject publicly. Diversity can be a sensitive issue. I value tact, but I also value earnesty. I will strive for both.
Let me assert that I strongly believe in equality, fairness, and respect for people from all racial and ethnic backgrounds. My social network and professional relationships are diverse, and I truly enjoy interacting with a wide variety of people. I can like and value people because of their hearts, minds, and other aspects of who they are, without whether I desire them sexually being a consideration.
On the matter of sexual desire, though, one simply likes what one likes. I believe it is unfair and unrealistic to apply standards of political correctness to sexual appeal, at least ones concerning race and other physical characteristics. To state it very clearly, and very crudely, if it makes my dick hard, I'm sexually into it. If it doesn't, I'm not.
Individuals have sexual preferences that can range from extremely varied to very limited and from intense to slight. Sexual likes and dislikes can relate to all kinds of things -- you name it. Regarding race, I freely admit that my usual sexual interest is in other white men, as well as in men who are of the hispanic/latin/middle-eastern type. Coloring itself (hair, eyes, compelxion) is a neutral factor for me -- it all works. I occasionally find some black men sexually desirable, and I can enjoy sex with black guys, but I don't have a pronounced attraction to them. I never find myself sexually attracted to guys of east Asian origin. The photos of men I post to my blog reflect my own personal tastes, and the blog is not decicated to representing physical diversity for its own sake. If it was, it woukd fearure different and more varied content. I think that's okay. For instance, as a red-headed guy, I know my ginger coloring does not appeal to everyone. That reality does not cause me consternation. After all, being reasonable, and as I am saying, not everyone is my type, either, and not only because of race. Fot instance, heavily trimmed body hair is a huge turn-off for me, regardless of what a guy looks like, otherwise. So, as the saying goes, all is fair in love and war...as well as whoever it is who gets a man's motor revved up. Vroom! 🙂
