Masculinius, God of Manhood, Smiles With Joy and Roars With Pride!
Okay, in the spirit of creative license, I invented Masculinius, god of manhood, for today's post. Many of the gods of the ancient Greeks and Romans wore more than one hat, and the Romans saw Mars, their god of war, to personify masculine virtue, and therefore, he was also widely considered to be a god of masculinity. There was also Priapus, sometimes also called Mutunus Tutunus, who was a more minor god of male fertility and genitalia, along with other dominions such as agriculture and vegetation. But, for the Clan of Men, I rather like the idea of Masculinius. Masculinius is a prideful god boasting all the manly attributes and pointing his favor to all men who embody manhood. Is Masculinius pointing at you with manly pleasure? I sure hope so. Cheers!
